The need for warm, cozy meals increases as the days become cooler. Additionally, Panera’s most recent product promises to provide patrons with a substantial amount of comfort.
The bakery-café company said today that its new Ciabatta Dippers, which are meant to be dipped in soup, are now available. The new sandwiches are offered in two versions at participating sites around the country.
You’re in luck if you like French dip. The French Dipper, a 1,130-calorie sandwich with marinated steak, melted provolone and asiago, and garlic aioli on ciabatta bread, is the first new sandwich. A “dipping portion” of Panera’s Cafe French Onion Soup is included with this.
The Spicy Chicken Dipper (910 calories) is the second new menu item. It consists of a ciabatta sandwich with grilled chicken, melty provolone, and creamy salsa verde spread. Panera’s Creamy Tomato Soup is served as a dip for this sandwich.
There will be a limited supply of the two new Ciabatta Dippers. MyPanera members who order a Ciabatta Dipper or any other qualified Panera sandwich via the Panera iOS app will get a double visit credit for their next loyalty reward, which is a great incentive to sample the new sandwiches. This deal is available to members until November 17.
Mark Shambura, Panera’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement, “Our customers have demonstrated to us how much they love pairing menu items, particularly dipping their sandwiches into our signature soups.” “We’ve created two delectable new menu dishes for visitors to embrace the dip and forgo the spoon, inspired by this passion of inventive pairings. Nothing beats the combination of a well portioned, flavorful soup and a melty sandwich, and we’re thrilled to provide both at a fantastic price.
Not all of Panera’s new menu items are as comforting as the Ciabatta Dippers. The restaurant debuted two new soup selections in September: Rustic Baked Potato Soup (380 calories) and Hearty Fireside Chili (400 calories), while also bringing back its Autumn Squash Soup (330 calories).
Pumpkin and butternut squash are combined and cooked in vegetable broth with honey, apple juice, cinnamon, and a “hint of curry,” and sweet cream to make the Autumn Squash Soup. For crunch, roasted, salted pumpkin seeds are added on top.
The Hearty Fireside Chili, which includes kidney beans, beef, fire-roasted tomatoes, and green chili peppers, is a great option if you’re seeking something spicy. These components are cooked in a broth with cilantro and chilies. Lastly, homemade potato slices, bacon, chives, and seasoning are combined to make the Rustic Baked Potato Soup, which has a creamy Monterey Jack cheese sauce. Asiago cheese is melted and placed on top of this soup.
