Isn’t the margarita a drink that’s only available at certain times of the year? That’s what I believe! To be more specific, this margarita with cherry lime, which is perfectly in line with the spirit of a tropical Christmas. I utilized cherry concentrate in addition to the syrup that was included inside a maraschino cherry jar in order to obtain the ideal combination of sour and sweet flavors.
It is always possible to add more maraschino syrup or plain simple syrup for an additional touch of sweetness, if that is something that you like. A combination of lime zest and salt is used to rim the glass, which adds a bit of a kick. There is no need to go any further if you are searching for a more sophisticated take on the traditional margarita.
Invite this drink to your next holiday movie night, Christmas party, or other celebrations that are full of joy and celebration!

- 1 lime wedge
- Finely grated lime zest, for rim
- 1/2 oz. concentrated cherry juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. maraschino cherry syrup from jar
- 1/2 oz. triple sec
- Kosher salt
- 1 1/2 oz. tequila blanco

Directions
Step 1
Rub a lime wedge over the rim of a glass that is used for margaritas. In a small dish, combine the lime zest and the salt. Coat the rim of the glass with the lime zest mixture by rolling it around.
Step 2
The following ingredients should be mixed together in a cocktail shaker: tequila, maraschino cherry syrup, lime juice, cherry juice, and triple sec. The shaker should be filled with ice, covered, and violently shaken for about twenty seconds, or until the exterior of the shaker is extremely frosty.
Step 3
Add extra ice to the glass that has been made. Garnish the margarita with a strainer. A slice of lime and a maraschino cherry should be used as garnish.
