Costco has a new craft beer out just in time for the holidays

With the launching of its new Kirkland Signature Vintage Ale a few of months ago, Costco was able to generate a lot of excitement among its customers. As of right now, the warehouse club is generating excitement once again with the introduction of yet another beer that customers can purchase for their holiday celebrations. This particular beer is manufactured by the same brewery that was responsible for the creation of the popular Vintage Ale.

An individual who is a shopper posted on Reddit this week that Costco is offering a Kirkland Signature Helles-Style Lager. This particular beer is manufactured by Deschutes Brewery, which is located in Oregon and is the tenth biggest craft brewery in the United States.

At a price of $13.99 per pack of twelve cans, the new beer was discovered by the user on Reddit. The beer has an alcohol content of 4.5%. The term “helles” literally translates to “pale” in German, and the beverage known as “Helles-lager” is a typical German beer that is light in color. When compared to Pilsners, these styles of beers are noted for having a greater emphasis on malt and a lower hop content.

To put it another way, it is silky smooth, crisp, and has a little of bite to it. In a follow-up remark, the Costco member who initiated the Reddit discussion about the beer said that it was “very easy to drink.”

Another customer who drank the beer and found it to be enjoyable said, “It’s a good pairing for spicy food.”

Despite the fact that a number of commentators voiced their disapproval of the Kirkland Signature Light Beer, which has since been discontinued, a number of people on Reddit stated their hope for this new alternative due to the fact that it is created by Deschutes Brewery, a seasoned company in the craft beer business.

“I would def give that a try if I see it next time I’m there, Deschutes is an outstanding brewery,” a Reddit member remarked in response.

The fact that Deschutes has placed their name on it provides me the assurance that it is worthy of my attention. Another individual said that if they had not been willing to support it, they would have white-labeled it first.

While this was going on, some people were thrilled with the price tag of $14, underscoring the fact that it was a good bargain.

According to Deschutes Brewery, the Kirkland Signature Vintage Ale, which was introduced in September, “delivers a bold, complex experience,” and has tastes of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. If you would rather have an imperial stout, you may try it. This beer is matured for nine months in oak barrels that were formerly used to manufacture Kentucky bourbon. The dark chocolate malt, milled oats, and Dutch cocoa that are utilized in the brewing process are some of the ingredients as well. $19.99 is the price of the 22-ounce bottle, which has an alcohol content of 12%.

Reddit has lately been buzzing with discussion on a variety of topics, and the Kirkland Signature’s Helles-Style Lager is just one of those conversations. Last week, customers at Costco were overjoyed to see that the British Sticky Toffee Pudding had made its triumphant comeback. The popular dessert that can be prepared in the microwave is made up of individual portions of sticky date cakes that are topped with a buttery toffee sauce.
