Jersey Mike’s Introduces Two New Sandwiches, Which I Sampled First

Jersey Mike’s is the sub shop where you may order your hoagie “Mike’s Way,” which is topped with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil mix, oregano, and salt. The majority of us who are people who like sandwiches are familiar with this particular sub business. In addition to that, there is the store where the meat is freshly sliced on the enormous slicer right in front of where you are standing.

You probably have a go-to order at Jersey Mike’s restaurant, and for many of us, that order is a cold sub that is stacked with deli meat, cheese, and toppings. This is true regardless of whether you are an ordinary fan, Nick Jonas, or Danny Devito, who is the spokesman for Jersey Mike’s. But you shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to try Jersey Mike’s sizzling subs.

In point of fact, the hot subs are the places where you will find the greatest variety on the menu. Jersey (state) Although Mike’s is not renowned for launching a large number of cold subs that go beyond its core 14, the hot subs, such as its cheesesteaks, have a tendency to evolve over time. On the other hand, when a menu is only available for a short period, it may be discontinued, which may almost shatter the hearts of fans.

Two New Sandwiches Have Been Released by Jersey Mike’s

Customers are persistently pleading with Jersey Mike’s to revive their Reuben sandwich and meatball sub, both of which have been discontinued. In addition, if you were one of the individuals who requested that the sandwich consisting of pastrami, corned beef, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing be brought back, you could be thrilled to learn this information. Although Jersey Mike’s is not bringing back the Reuben itself, they are bringing back pastrami for a limited time on two new sandwiches.

Jersey Mike’s has expanded its menu to include two new hot subs known as the Classic Pastrami and Chipotle Pastrami. Both of these sandwiches were introduced this week. The Classic Pastrami sub is comprised of layers of sliced pastrami, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, pickles, and spicy mustard. On the other hand, the Chipotle Pastrami sandwich is composed of layers of sliced pastrami, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle mayonnaise.

The following is an honest evaluation of the new pastrami sandwiches that I tried a few times.

A Dishonest Evaluation of the Pastrami Sandwiches Offered at Jersey Mike’s

The majority of our go-to sandwiches are cold subs from Jersey Mike’s, as I indicated before, and I am not an exception to this rule. I am the kind of person that enjoys a Club Sub Mike’s Way with cherry pepper relish on Rosemary Parmesan bread, but I am not one to laugh at a hot sub. In point of fact, this is the reason why I like its rival Firehouse Subs, which is well-known for its warm sandwiches; I’ve simply never had one from Jersey Mike’s before.

Even while I like a Reuben, there are occasions when I find that the pastrami is a touch too salty for my taste. Therefore, when I bit into the new Classic Pastrami sandwich that Jersey Mike’s had to offer, I was pleasantly delighted to find that it was a robust, tasty piece of meat that was sliced from brisket and did not include an excessive amount of salt. The meat itself has a taste that is very mouthwatering, and when you combine the pickles, mustard, and pastrami in a single bite, you get the ideal chewing experience.

In a manner that is comparable, the Chipotle Pastrami sandwich has an excellent cheese-to-meat ratio, and the chipotle mayonnaise is of the highest quality. The only thing I wish the chipotle sandwich had was pickles on it since they would have added a pinch of flavor.

Even though all of the sandwiches are wonderful, I prefer to have a sub from Jersey Mike’s since it allows me to customize it and it is loaded with toppings. I am from the “sandwich TAHN” of Pittsburgh, as Pat McAfee referred to it on “College GameDay.” Perhaps this is the reason why I am so popular. Due to the fact that I was raised on Primanti Bros. sandwiches that were filled with meat, cheese, tomatoes, coleslaw, and french fries, I have a somewhat high standard for the sandwiches that I consume.

The pastrami sandwiches did left me wanting a little bit more, particularly due to the fact that you are unable to customize them with any extra toppings. On the other hand, they are wonderful for what they are, and if you are someone who has been yearning Jersey Mike’s pastrami ever since it was removed off the menu many years ago, then you will be in sandwich paradise. However, you had best get there as soon as possible since it is impossible to predict how long they will remain on the menu.
